Why Use Open Brand Book?

Let me paint you a picture, you’re a local business owner co-sponsoring an event. The event organizers want to share about your partnership on social media, their website, banners, flyers, and t-shirts at the event.

They ask for your logo and a blurb about your company. You message the graphic designer who made your logo and search your email for your old marketing agencies brand messaging. Uh oh. Your designer is on vacation, and you can’t find the branding PDF you are certain exists somewhere. You continue wasting time looking for the right files and eventually share a low-res screenshot as a placeholder.

This kind of frustration drives us nuts - both as an agency that needs to obtain proper logos/colors/fonts/messaging and as a small business that needs to efficiently share our own media kit for press, events, advertising, and partnerships.

Who is a Good Fit?

Open Brand Book is designed for startups, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. We provide you a single link webpage which acts as a media kit, brand guideline, and style guide.

Best Suited For

It works best for local service businesses, nonprofit marketing and outreach departments, early stage startups, and any organization that has a fantastic established brand or is ready to re-brand but doesn’t have a dedicated web design and development team in-house.

Not a Great Fit For

Enterprise-sized companies with 1,000s of employees.

How Does My Brand Get a Brand Guides Page?

As of today, Open Brand Book guides are exclusively built, hosted, and maintained for retainer clients of Sick Day Design Co. We’ve seen how helpful these microsites are for our clients and may expand to offer this as a standalone service or product in the future.

Sick Day Design Co is accepting new clients and all of our retainer tiers now include an Open Brand Book guides page.

Logos Only

In some cases, we can publicly host your primary and alternate logos even if we don’t work together otherwise. Get in touch, and we can take it from there.
